I have been asked to interview with both Mike Savage and Fox News this week and your interview has just given me great confidence! I still haven't figured out the whole online world yet, but thankfully it isn't slowing me down yet! You rock my friend!

Believe well!

Adelaide :)

Re: Want To Be Better At Interviews?

Thanks for stopping by!

Re: Want To Be Better At Interviews?

Hi, thanks for the info on conducting better interviews. I guess interviewing has to do with the art of asking questions. The fact of the matter is that it can't hurt. Very helpful information. I love your site by the way. I bumped into it last week and have been doing allot of reading. Hope you respond.

Re: Want To Be Better At Interviews?

Okay, you have a point, Jim. I stand corrected. But her unsubtle NEON HARD SELL style still turns me off. Just not my style. But different strokes and all...
Anyway, have a good holiday, amigo.

Re: Want To Be Better At Interviews?

Interviews are a quick backdoor into virtually any market. I call it the path to instant guruism...
Thanks Jim!

Seth Daley

Re: Want To Be Better At Interviews?

I think your attitude is off base John. You may live in this super snotty world of "real journalism", but a lot of the new media does not. You know, blogging, podcasting, etc... Nobody, me, or her, are pretending to be journalists, but you seem to think we are or everyone should be. We don't even want to be.

Did you even listen to it? She was smart and intelligent and provided good information to people who want help to get publicity for their businesses. Get the point John? This is interview for marketers, not interviews for Pulitzer prizes.

Big difference.

Re: Want To Be Better At Interviews?

Jesus, Jim, why the hell do you persist in drawing attention to these schlockmeister P.T. Barnum types. I've never heard of this lady for a perfectly good reason--because quantity won't ever trump quality. Just five quality interviews would have been worth more than 14,000 hack jobs she does. She's selling a product, but it doesn't really have anything to do with the craft of interviewing.
