Thanx for the tips. I am still hanging in there on my 3 week old Video Blog. Practice. Practice. And..Practice. Right Jim?

You're off to a great start. The hardest part is starting.
And again, thanx for your encouragement. So I have to do What, and HUH?

Nice job.

@Steve, thanks for participating. You gave great tips. Sorry about the vlog soup mixup. Wish I could go back and redit the file and reupload but I can't! Everyone go visit www.stevegarfield.com to see Steve's stuff!
Congrats on being really awesome too Steve.

What I do know is that the long pause telling me I could advertise here nearly caused me to stop watching - your intro kept me there - but when the intro sequence started and I realised this was going to take a while I stopped watching.
The only reason I am taking the time to pass this on is that if you are trying to promote yourself as an expert on Video blogging you ought to understand more about audiences.
You are not a TV show and do not have an audience who are sat on a sofa - your audience are in front of a PC and doing other things - time is precious. You may have created a great intro but it is not needed on the web where you have to constantly keep people's attention.
Anyway you probably know all this - so sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs.
I's ask Steve for his opinion - you'll notice he doesn't do the ad spot and then the intro!!
Thanks for the feedback. The world of video and monetization/marketing is still very new. I'm testing and getting feedback as I go, so I thank you for chiming in.
I will say though, that if the content wasn't worth watching, then I completely agree with you. So my challenge is to make entertaining and informative content that you will enjoy watching.
