Comments are fixed, go Content Robot! I'd have to go for PACKAGE #1: PHOTO/MUSIC PACKAGE because I'd never get any work done ever with the Xbox, and I already have enough stuff for my TV. As for Sears being "beneath" someone, that's bunk. I've got a ton (literally, I think they weight that much) of Sears tools I use to work on the cars, and I shop there all the time.

PS I was not paid to make this comment - unless I win. In that case then I will have been compensated after the fact for my comment...

Jim, what a cool promo!
I used to shop at Sears a LOT when I did handyman work. I have a ton of Sears tools. From ShopVacs and power tools to a ton of hand tools. I recently bought a luggage set for a trip to visit my brother in Nevada. Anyway, of the three I'd go for PACKAGE #2: BLU-RAY/DVD PLAYER PACKAGE
Sony Blu-Ray Home Disc Player. We don't have Blu-Ray. As you know I'm a photographer (phodoz.com) so the Sony camera and iPod pkg. isn't really up our alley. And, my 3 daughters aren't into X-Box. They're into Wii and PlayStation.

Jim....hey, enjoyed the Sears shopping notes. Like you, I spent a lot ot time in the local Sears and Roebuck. Got my first basball glove there and my first bike...JC Higgins at Sears. This is an interesting post. I'd be interested to know more background about how this all came to be and what you had to agreed to do to participate. I think it might be a good strategy for bloggers. You clearly said what you were doing so I don't have a problem with it.

FWIW, I think Sears is making a comeback. The store lost favor with me for a while because it seemed they stopped standing behind what they sold. When I was a kid my dad always bought Craftsman tools because if one ever broke he could return it to Sears for a new one. So when my wife and I bought our first house, we bought a Craftsman lawn mower. It was a piece of junk and it was difficult to get Sears to fix it. Now, I think Sears has regained its standing in large part to their sponsorship of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Giving those families free appliances every week is better than any advertising they can buy.

That's my two cents. Regarding the contest, I'd take Package #1: The Photo/Music Package.

I would like to win package #2. The last vehicle I bought I skipped the in car dvd player and have wished I had one on several road trips. Yeah, as a far west sider by Cleveland, I had the same experience growing up. Sears was a great place to shop. Also, I now sell stuff to Sears (as a vendor) and they are a great company to work with. They also seem to treat thier employees pretty well from what I hear.

I remember shopping for school clothes every year at Sears. My favorite memory is when my little sister asked the shoe clerk if she wore her new duck boots all day at school if it would cause fungus on her feet (I guess her teacher told her that). To this day, I still call her "Ducky Fungus Foot".

I love Sears too, I was addicted to their catologs. My kids would grab the Christmas catolog the minute it arrived and start their Christmas lists. We recently had a young loved one pass away and in my opinion the most healing happened around the game table. We could laugh at getting the latest trivia and HOPE for the last minute win.

Really any of these packages I would want. I am a disabled Single Mom and never in my wildest dreams do I ever think I will be able to afford anything like that. It is all the thought that counts and even though this is a paid post, you really did an amazing job. Paid post or not, you have to make a living somehow!
If I have to choose just one then... I really like #2 the best because my daughter would LOVE to be able to watch DVD's in the car on her way to school and on long car rides.

I think the first package, Photo/Music Package is suitable for me. And yes, you may have guess it, it's the season and time of the year of spending time with your loved ones and closed people, otherwise known as time to take pictures for memorial moments! Now you can't go wrong for wishing for a digital camera for that, can you? Looking back at the picutres will never get old, and will give you pleasures and bring back memories of the times my family and I (you and others) have come together to celebrate. Not to also mention, the camera will be useful during birthdays and family trips too! I am liking the Apple iPod as well because since my car audio cd player has been broken, the only way I can listen to music on the road or listen to lectures being recorded are no longer through CD, but through indirect hookup of any MP3 player's headphone-out port to the car headphone/aux-in. Apple iPod, 16 GB, will definitely hold a lot more music or lecture notes! Package #1 is thus an awesome deal for me! :)

I really love to win package #1 photo/music. Me and my daughter all about photography and music (albeit different photography and different music). She takes pictures and videos and sets them to music. I just like taking pictures. But her camera broke and she hasn't been able to take pictures or videos. I would love the 3rd package (PACKAGE #3: XBOX 360 SYSTEM & GAMES PACKAGE). I would pass the actual xbox on to a family that I know of who is in need (no they don't NEED an xbox but as parents we all know that sometimes it is nice to see our kids have something that they simply WANT). The father is very ill and Christmas is nearly non-existent for the kids (teens to elementary age) this year. Even though it would be a little late, I know that they would love this! I would probably keep the NBA game (my son asked for it and we couldn't afford it) for my oldest and the Spiderman one for my middle'un :)

I grew up with my nose in a Sears catalog. My sisters and I would pour over the pages and beg our parents for the clothes, shoes and toys. Honestly, I would love any of these packages, they would all be put to good use by my family..... but I was soooo hoping one of my kids would ask for Guitar Hero this year because I am dying to try this out, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.
