I don't think the jury is still out. I think the jury came to a verdict a day or two after the site was launched. I dont believe any low to medium traffic bloggers will see a benefit from using blogrush.

my site is not getting any traffic from this widget. i am waiting on the "fixes" that they are going to implement to see if I get any traffic. after that, i will leave it or remove it.

Same here. I have a massive volume of impressions, with minimal clicks.
