No paid links will be going black market :D

Re: It’s Official, Google Killed TextLinkAds As We Know It?

I think TLA needs to put forth initiatives to educate their publishers on how to avoid being flagged algorithmically. A 'best practices' guide would be great. As an advertiser I'd feel more comfortable purchasing links if I knew publishers weren't screaming "HEY, OVER HERE! TLA ADS FOR SALE."

Re: It’s Official, Google Killed TextLinkAds As We Know It?

"Does “closing” the open marketplace work?"

yes .. im sure TLA will keep their business, that change will keep them going

Re: It’s Official, Google Killed TextLinkAds As We Know It?

Thanks Joel, I updated my post with that link.

I don't think it's a fight they can win, even if they close up the marketplace and make it "private". Honestly, Google doesn't want their juice passed in such a a manner, end of story.

Re: It’s Official, Google Killed TextLinkAds As We Know It?

Jim ...
