I placed a 125x125 banner at &lt;a href="http://xfep.com" rel="nofollow"&gt;xfep.com&lt;/a&gt;. What was different is that I designed the banner to be a circle instead of a square and it does stand out. I have made several circular banners for clients and they have all had good results with them.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Sometimes simplicity is the answer to standing out. Its more fun than most ads and certainly any other text link ads wigdets out there.  I should have included it in the article as "ScratchBack - what happens when ads meet innovation" :-)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I have some ideas (well maybe just one) so I'm going to try and develop it.
