  • I work in similar way. That's why I started make posts drafts with time stamp so I can write 4 posts one day and nothing next 3 days and posts will be published one by one.
  • glad to hear there is someone else that works like i do out there.
  • I usually work the same way though I try not to. I would love to be able to put the same amount of work in week in week out but some weeks Im busy or lazy and do 10-15 hours and the next I do 50.

I usually arrange my work around my lifestyle - ie. nights out, holidays, social life. :)
  • I feel that if someone's work is the least bit creative, they will work when they get the inspiration or are struck by an idea that they feel they have to give fruition to. I think it is because of this that creative people work in bursts; perhaps output is not very even and constant, but maybe that is a side effect of being original and creative?
  • To the contrary, Jim, the smartest, most productive people I know work around and with their natural rhythms, so as to attain peak production (as they define that), in a way that feels comfortable and natural for them. There's a great book about this, entitled "Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience." I'd recommend it to anyone. But it sounds like you're nicely in flow.
  • So what you're saying John is that I'm a genius!?? :0
  • Sure, I'll go along with that word, Jim.
